Strawberry-Ginger Caipirosca
10 fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered 15 fresh mint leaves 1/4 lime, cut into 4 pieces 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 cups cracked ice 1/2 cup vodka Put the lime, strawberries, mint, ginger and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, crush lime, strawberries, mint, ginger & sugar until the strawberries are almost pureed. Add ice & vodka and shake well. Fill glass with ice, and add cocktail. Garnish with lime wedge and mint leaf. Feel free to modify by adding more/less of each ingredient until the drink matches your preference. |
